What I make are clothes, what he captures are the moment.Fashion and photography are closely on commercially. But in this project, we approached the shoot as if we were exploring the intersection of what we both wanted to express.
The group of Old Western-style houses dotted from the hill overlooking the sea to the beach, the linear contrast of natural lights and shades created by the intricate topography and the difference in elevation, and the seemingly original Japanese landscape create an imaginary picture.
The sea, roads, buildings and plants appear as scenery in a unique rhythm due to the steep terrain, giving a somewhat pleasant sense of discomfort to the everyday landscape.
While the photographs captured by him express the power of the towns and people, they also reflect the lively and fleeting moments that-has-been.
I look forward to the day when we meet again and look for something else, and the depth and reverberations of these photographs will be a milestone for that.
